You need a website. You do not especially want a second job called “website manager.” Then someone offers to build it with you for one monthly payment and nothing due upfront.
Good deal? Maybe. Let’s make the math and fine print less weird.
First: it is not a free website
“No upfront cost” simply means there is no separate setup or build bill before work begins. You trade one big first invoice for a smaller recurring payment.
That monthly payment might buy software you operate yourself. It might pay off a fixed project. Or it might cover a managed service where a person builds the site and keeps helping after launch. Those are three very different deals.
So what are you paying for?
A real managed website plan should make these jobs disappear from your to-do list:
- Planning, writing, designing, and building the site
- Structuring pages for search engines and AI answer tools
- Hosting the site and keeping the technical pieces working
- Tracking the basics and making agreed updates after launch
- Giving you professional recommendations about what to improve next
If the plan only gives you software, that is a website builder. If a person handles the work, that is a service. Make sure the price reflects which one you are getting.
The real difference starts after launch
For an apples-to-apples comparison, imagine both routes produce the same fully fleshed-out informational website: up to five pages, deliberate strategy, design and copy, suitable stock photography, and solid foundations for search and AI discovery.
Either route can deliver an excellent website. The difference is how you pay and who stays responsible for what comes next.
One-time website project
$5,000 once
Example project price
At launch
You have the finished website you paid for. The strategy, writing, design, review, and build are complete. That is a solid, industry-standard service.
After launch
- You handle analytics, content changes, maintenance, and next-step strategy yourself.
- Or you hire help through a retainer or separate project fees.
Managed website
$100 to start
Current monthly rate, with no separate build fee
At launch
You have the same intentional website foundation. If the standard build lands around the 30-day target, you will have made the first payment and be approaching the second.
After launch
- Hosting, analytics, Search Console, and agreed monthly implementations stay managed.
- You can ask questions, review performance, and get professional recommendations about what to improve next.
At the current rate, the managed plan totals $3,600 after three years and $5,000 after 50 months. That payment covers an ongoing working relationship, not just the original build.
That continuing relationship is the value. You keep running the business or organization. We keep the website from becoming another technical job on your list.
Search visibility and AI visibility are not separate magic tricks. Clear pages, useful copy, sound technical structure, and a credible online presence help search engines understand your business, and they give AI systems better information to work with too. Nobody needs to make that sound mysterious.
Which route sounds most like you?
Build it yourself
Best when you enjoy tinkering, have time to learn, and want the lowest possible cash cost.
Buy it once
Best when you have upfront budget, want a defined handoff, and have the time or team to manage the site afterward.
Build it with a partner
Best when your business is already operating and you want ongoing technical marketing support, recommendations, and help putting those ideas into practice.
Before you sign, ask six questions
- What exactly will be finished before launch?
- Who tracks the site and turns the numbers into recommendations?
- Which updates and implementation help continue after launch?
- Which costs will I pay separately?
- What do I own, and what happens if I cancel?
- What kind of business and project is this plan designed for?
If the answers sound like fog, wait before signing. A good provider should be able to explain the deal like a normal person.
What “done with you” means here
Our Managed Websites plan is not do-it-yourself, and it is not a one-and-done, done-for-you project. We build it with you.
- Strategy-led structure, design, and initial copy
- Light brand direction and suitable stock photography
- Up to five informational pages built with SEO, AEO, and GEO foundations
- Two review rounds before launch
- Managed hosting, analytics, and Google Search Console
- One monthly update batch of up to 60 minutes for agreed implementations
- A quarterly strategy call with professional recommendations
You bring an established business, knowledge of your customers, and timely feedback. We bring the marketing and technical experience to turn that into a useful website and keep supporting it.
That is why the first step is a conversation. This standard plan is for businesses that are already operating and need ongoing technical support for their marketing. Not every business or project will be the right fit.
It is not the right package for ecommerce, memberships, custom apps, complex booking systems, or unlimited revisions. If you need something beyond the standard plan, we can recommend the right next step and quote additional work separately.
You own your domain, the materials you provide, approved copy, and delivered brand assets. We keep ownership of the site implementation and template while the service is active. If you cancel, the site remains live through the paid period and is then archived unless you accept a separately quoted buyout.

Tell us what you need. The form starts a conversation, not a commitment.
