This policy explains how Tortoise & Hare Studio handles information shared through tortoiseandhare.studio.
Information you share
Our contact forms may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and any message you choose to send. The Managed Websites form may also collect optional project information, including your business type, current website, goals, requested features, content readiness, preferred timing, and additional context.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, understand the work you are considering, prepare for a conversation, manage a potential or active client relationship, maintain business records, and protect the forms from misuse.
Where the information goes
When the Dashboard connection is available, a form submission creates or updates a lead in the studio's Dashboard and customer relationship records. A notification is sent to the studio through Resend. Those systems rely on hosting, database, and email providers to process the information for us.
If the Dashboard connection is unavailable, the website may open a complete email draft in your email application instead. The message is not sent until you choose to send it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used. After a Managed Websites inquiry is saved successfully, the site may record a fixed generate_lead event with the method managed_website_inquiry. Contact details, form answers, and other message content are not sent with that event.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage when analytics is enabled. You can limit this through your browser settings or supported privacy controls.
Retention and your choices
We keep inquiry and client information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the relationship, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legitimate legal or operational obligations.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted by emailing hello@tortoiseandhare.studio. We may need to verify the request before changing a record.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the website, providers, or information practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
