You can review a Wix design before launching it. Choose the method according to what the other person needs: comments on the design, access to edit it, or a test of changes to an existing published site.
Start with Get Feedback for comments
Save the design, then open the site dashboard’s actions menu and choose Get Client Feedback. Copy its shareable link and review it in a separate browser. The link can expose password-protected and members-only pages, so do not use it to share confidential content.
Use collaborator access for work on the site
If someone needs to edit content or settings, invite them as a collaborator with the permissions required for that work. Review the actual role permissions; do not give administrator access simply to collect comments. Remove access when it is no longer needed.
Use the editor preview for your own review
The preview inside the editor is useful for checking appearance and sharing your screen during a conversation. It is different from a public review link. Check small and large screens, and remember that third-party features may behave differently after publication.
Test Sites require an already-published site
A Wix Test Site is for reviewing changes to a site that has previously been published. It is not the first step for sharing a never-published design. Follow Wix’s current instructions for creating a test version and managing its exposure.
Do not treat a test version as an isolated copy of every feature. Some data and integrations may still involve the live site, and some features have limitations. Use a suitable test workflow for submissions or purchases rather than making real transactions merely to check appearance.
A sharing link is not a privacy control
Publishing, search indexing, and access permissions are separate. Before sharing private information, verify the access restrictions instead of assuming that an unfamiliar URL or absence from search makes the page private.
